An Ordinance to amend the Merchant Shipping (No. 2) Amendment Ordinance, 1934, and the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899 as amended by the Merchant Shipping Amendment Ordinance, 1935.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Merchant Shipping Short title. Amendment Ordinance, 1937.
2. Section 5 of the Merchant Shipping (No. 2) Amend ment Ordinance, 1934, is amended by the repeal of sub-section (2) of the new provision of section 41 of the Merchant Ship- ping Ordinance, 1899, which it authorized.

3. Paragraph (aa) of section 2 of the Merchant Shipping Repeal Ordinance, 1899, enacted by section 2 (i) of the Merchant No. 10 of Shipping Amendment Ordinance, 1935, is repealed.

4. This Ordinance shall not come into operation unless Suspending and until the Governor notifies by Proclamation His Majesty's pleasure thereon; and thereafter it shall come into operation upon such day as the Governor shall notify by the same or any other Proclamation.
